Cherry blossoms peek out,
Skies turn into oceans,
Winds perform their dance.
Stars turn into lights,
The moon becomes a spotlight,
The world seems at peace.
Just laying here,
As familiar tunes play,
And memories flood before my eyes.
So scared I used to be,
When my memories came,
But now I'm no longer afraid.
I've grown stronger.
It takes more than a painful memory,
To make me cry.
My unknown anthem,
Plays on,
Keeping me alive and strong,
Everyday.
Winter changes into Spring,
Days happily become longer,
Nights sadly become shorter.
Life passes by too fast,
Memories become weaker,
As I grow stronger.
Although, with this crummy weather nowadays, I'm a little afraid for the cherry blossom trees. They're blooming way too early.
Anyway, lovely poem, though. I can totally imagine the peaceful view. It makes me a little more at peace.
Thanks, glad I could spread the peaceful feeling
